ABOUT CHELSEA
Chelsea Paige is an actress, writer, and producer from Texas, now living in London. She trained as an actor at the Abilene Christian University and gained a BFA in Musical Theatre before getting her MFA in Acting at the University of East London. Further training includes Sketch Writing and Improvisation at the Upright Citizens Brigade in NYC and musical theatre training at the Tepper Semester in New York City where she learned from professionals such as: Daisy Prince, Erica Jensen & Paul Davis (CalleriCasting), Robin Morse, Mike Mitchell, and more.
Chelsea has performed in theatre in both London and in the States. Some of her most memorable theatre roles include Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Marie in Is He Dead, and Jenny Hill in the Collegiate Premiere of Big Fish. She can also be seen in many short films including Bitten, Jude, and Between the Lines.
Chelsea began writing sketches while living in NYC and from there moved on to writing full length plays. Some of these include Falling Cradles (Co-written with Chis Spyrou), Triángulo Amoroso, and most recently Virginia.
Outside of performing, Chelsea has gained knowledge in many other areas of theatrical production, serving as a box office assistant, house manager, usher, props master, dresser, and theatre teacher. She worked as a teacher for several years at Dallas Children’s Theatre in Texas where she taught students aged 5-18, and now works as the Administrative Producer for the East London Theatre School.
